Emma Brown - Instructor

Emma Brown grew up dedicating her time to the performing arts in Greensboro, North Carolina, honing her craft from the age of three at Greensboro Performing Arts—where she performed with the Triad Tap Co., Senior Dance Co., and Repertory 336. She went on to complete extensive dance and theatre training at Weaver Academy for the Performing & Visual Arts. In 2019, Emma further refined her technique at the Triple Arts Musical Theatre Summer Intensive at Western Carolina University, studying under industry professionals Charlotte d’Amboise and Terrence Mann.

In addition to her comprehensive training across multiple disciplines, Emma has a rich background in performance and theatrical production. Her key stage credits include Roxie in Chicago, Sherrie Christian in Rock of Ages, and Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, frequently serving as Dance Captain in other various productions. Alongside her performing roles, she has choreographed productions including SpongeBob: The Musical and All Together Now.

Emma began her teaching journey at Greensboro Performing Arts, instructing students ages 3 to 16 in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop while also leading Musical Theatre programs and summer camps.

Currently pursuing a degree in Coastal Environmental Science with a minor in Illustration at Flagler College, Emma is thrilled to share her passion for the arts at Dansations, where she is committed to fostering a safe, inspiring environment for young dancers to grow and express themselves!
